What information does the Application obtain and how is it used?
User Provided Information
The App obtains the file paths of pictures on your device you set for display and of captions added to the pictures. In addition to this the App gets knowledge of the user’s Google Account Name once he logs into Google+ and Google Drive. This is only possible when the user grants the App permission to do so.
When logged into Google Drive the App is able to retrieve all folders and files created or uploaded with this App. Also the App is able to find and download all files of a certain type (application/piccal) or file extension (.piccal) the user has the right to read, or has been shared to him by third parties.
If the user activates the birthday feature, the App will scan all contacts for their birthdays on a regular basis. This data is solely used ad hoc to show a birthday notification and a user’s contact photo if he or she happens to celebrate birthday on the current day. The App does not collect, store or send any personal data from the user or his contacts without the user manually triggering this, for example by exporting and sharing a Calendar containing personal photos or captions.
For sharing a calendar through Google Drive the App has to read the user’s contact’s email addresses. These are not stored anywhere or send by the App.
By enabling the birthday functionality in the App's settings you agree that the following data is read from your contacts:
The same data is used to generate birthday notifications. The App does not store any data of your Contacts.
The Widget is able to mark days you have appointments or events on. To do so the App requires access to your calendar(s), for example Google Calendar. In the App's settings you're able to define if and which calendars will be used.
The data is solely used to determine days with events. It is not being stored or otherwise used by the App.
Does the Application collect precise real time location information of the device?
This App does not collect precise information about the location of your mobile device. However this may be the case with the integrated Google Admob service. Please refer to Google’s privacy policies for more details:
